Logitech has announced that it is launching two new force feedback racing wheel peripherals soon for both PC and consoles. One appears to be PlayStation branded and intended for use with the PS4 while the other brandishes the Xbox logo, although both will work with the PC anyway.

The PS4 model is called the G29 Driving Force, which also works on the last generation PS3 and the PC. It features dual motor force feedback, steel pedals and a leather wrapped steering wheel. The wheel features lots of dials and buttons for mapping different controls.

The second wheel announced today is the G920 Driving Force, which comes with Xbox branding. Unlike the PS4 wheel, this one won't be compatible with the last generation Xbox 360, sticking to the One, although it will work on PC as well. It has similar features, although this model comes with an optional driving force shifter, which is a manual gear stick.

However, the G920 won't come with LEDs on-board or driving dial tweakers in order to customize the handling of the wheel, unlike the G29 so there is a trade off. In the UK, both wheels will cost £299, which is pretty expensive. In the US it costs $399.
