MSI’s Pro Max Edge AI+ mini PC now available in UK for £4,499

Following on from a reveal earlier this year, MSI is now bringing its powerful Pro Max Edge AI+ Mini PC to the UK. The system comes equipped with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and a large 128GB unified memory pool designed for local AI workloads.

The PRO MAX Edge AI+ is aimed at organisations running on‑device AI inference, data analysis and other compute‑heavy tasks without relying on cloud processing. This allows businesses to keep their sensitive data offline and retain control, without relying on a third-party provider.

At the core of the system is AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, featuring 16 cores, 32 threads and integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. MSI pairs this with 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory running at 8000MT/s, with up to 96GB allocatable as GPU VRAM. MSI claims this configuration can support “massive 120B LLMs” entirely offline.

The mini‑PC includes dual PCIe Gen 4 M.2 slots for high‑bandwidth storage, which MSI positions as useful for hosting large language models or local databases. Cooling is handled by the company’s Frozr AI PRO design, intended to maintain sustained performance under heavy workloads. Connectivity features include Wi‑Fi 7 for high‑speed downloads and multi‑gigabyte model transfers, alongside support for up to four displays.

The MSI PRO MAX Edge AI+ launches in the UK on the 1st of October with an official MSRP of £4,499. Scan is currently listing the system at a promotional price of £4,439.
