Google Documents editing added to Android & iOS

Google have updated their software to allow for mobile editing of Google Documents for both iOS and Android platforms. This has been a feature many people have been waiting on for months.

Thanks to this new feature, it means that users can now edit their documents on the move. Andrew Grieve, a software engineer at Google has posted information on the Mobile blog pages saying that this will be rolled out over the rest of the week.

To get editing, visit http://docs.google.com from the mobile web browser of the Android or iOS device and select the document you need to edit or create a new document and begin editing it. This edit button then activates the mobile editor code, and depending on the connection will offer a real time experience. Google Spreadsheets can also be updated and shared between multiple users.

Kitguru says: A long awaited feature which is sure to appeal to a wide audience
