Apple patch Safari security holes

Apple have released a huge patch for Safari, to fix an array of security issues in their premium browser software.

Apple have offered the 39.2MB update for download for both OS X and Windows platforms, which fixes 27 holes in the browser, many of which can allow maliciously designed web sites to run code or even crash applications. Many of these flaws were reported by the Google Chrome development team who also use WebKit.

The update also has the usual improvements on offer, stability enhancements, compability fixes and improved page rendering when using the Flash 10.1 plug in.

More information is available from Apple on this page.

KitGuru says: Be sure to get the update if you use Safari.
