Code Vein is a post-apocalyptic Vampire action RPG

It looks like Bandai Namco has a new ARPG in the works for us under the name ‘Code Vein'. This will be a vampire-themed dungeon explorer set in a post-apocalyptic future, set to launch next year. To mark the occasion, Bandai Namco also released a ton of screenshots.

Code Vein is currently only announced for ‘major consoles' but Bandai Namco has a history of putting its other titles on PC, so it is hard to imagine PC gamers will be left out of the loop for long.

The game itself is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where players take on the role of a Vampire Revenant who can access their powers upon drinking blood. While exploring the world, you will come across new weapons and powers to make use of.

Unfortunately, aside from those few details, we don't know much about this game, There is no trailer at the moment or a more specific 2018 release date. However, there are quite a lot of screenshots.

KitGuru Says: The screenshots seem interesting but there are so few details right now that it is difficult to get particularly excited about this game. Still, it has been a while since I've encountered vampires in a video game so this should be interesting.
