Apex Legends is getting a new map, new character and more for Meltdown season

Respawn has been very busy this year between bringing Medal of Honor back and finishing up Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Over the course of 2019, Respawn has also been consistently updating Apex Legends with seasonal updates. With season 3 about to launch Apex Legends is going to get some major changes, including a brand new map.

When season 3 kicks off on the 1st of October, Apex Legends players will have the chance to play on a brand new map called ‘World's Edge'. The change of scenery is based around a fire and ice theme, giving experienced players a chance to re-learn the best spots and come up with new strategies.

Aside from the new map, Apex Legends' new season will also introduce a new character called Crypto and overhaul the game's ranking system. As usual, a new battle pass will also launch, giving players access to new rewards as the season progresses.

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
