- Lots of cushioning in the headband.
- The sleek, matte black design is understated and feels premium.
- Bright, customisable RGB in the earcups.
Cons
- The microphone is not great for the £200 price point.
- Volume roller doesn't have much resistance so often needs resetting.
- THX Spatial Audio can decrease audio quality depending on the setting.
- As the headset has a steel-reinforced headband it’s not as flexible as plastic headsets.
- Battery, although fairly decent, will still require charging daily if using haptics & RGB.
- Due to the weight, it can feel heavy if you’re used to lighter headsets.
KitGuru says: This headset offers immersive audio like I've never experienced before, THX Spatial sound paired with HyperSense Technology (Haptics) is another level of enjoyment when it comes to gaming, watching movies or whatever you want to use this headset for. Unfortunately, the Kraken V3 PRO is let down by the sub-par microphone, which is a problem especially at the £200 price-point.
