The Last of Us Remake might be heading to PC and PS5 this year

We've been hearing rumours about a remake of The Last of Us for PC and PS5 for quite some time now. According to a prominent leaker this week, Naughty Dog will be announcing the remake soon, and it could be releasing as early as September.

Twitter account ‘The Snitch‘ quickly gained notoriety recently after accurately leaking Sony's entire State of Play roster hours before the show aired. Now, he is back with a new PlayStation leak, claiming that The Last of Us Remake could be heading to PS5 and PC on the 2nd of September this year.

Interestingly, Spider-Man Remastered is also heading to PC in August, and Miles Morales is also slated for Autumn, so that could end up arriving in September too. Up to now, Sony has spread out its PC launches quite a bit, with Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone arriving a year apart. This year, we've already seen God of War launch on PC, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection should be releasing any day now.

If this leak is accurate, then we'll be getting quite a few PlayStation releases on PC in close proximity, which makes me wonder if perhaps The Last of Us Remake will be heading to PS5 first, with a PC release planned for later, similarly to Uncharted 4.
