For a while, it was unclear whether or not Starfield would ever come to PS5 consoles, despite consistent rumours claiming that it would. Now after around two years of waiting, Bethesda has finally announced its plans.
Starfield is officially coming to PS5. An announcement is coming later today, but eagle-eyed fans already spotted the game listed on the PSN Store. Better yet, the PS5 version is launching very soon, with the game being listed with an April 7th launch date.
Starfield first launched in September 2023 exclusively for PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Just six months later, Microsoft then announced that it was going to start shipping some of its exclusive games on PS5. Nowadays, most new releases from Xbox Game Studios are being developed with a PS5 release in mind, including the likes of Fable, Forza Horizon 6 and Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Bethesda also has plans for a major Starfield update, which we should get more details on later today.

KitGuru Says: Have you been waiting to see Starfield on PS5? The game already runs quite well on Xbox Series X in its quality and performance modes, so we should see similar visual and performance results on Sony's hardware.
