Cooler Master has launched its latest trio of high‑end cooling fans. The new MasterFan M120 ARGB, A120, and A120 FC step beyond the company’s usual 25mm frames, adopting a thicker 30mm design. The thicker frame gives room for steeper blade geometry, resulting in higher static pressure.
According to EXPreview (via Cowcotland), the MasterFan M120 is the entry point to the new lineup, utilising Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) blades and featuring a subtle ARGB ring at the hub. It operates between 0 and 2300 RPM, delivering 75.20 CFM and 5.4 mmAq of static pressure at a relatively quiet 27.0 dB(A). A 5-year warranty backs this model.
The MasterFan A120 introduces the aluminium alloy frame and blades, designed for maximum durability and zero blade flex. It reaches speeds of 2500 RPM, pushing 80.69 CFM and 6.1 mmAq of static pressure. Despite the metal construction, noise is kept to a manageable 29.7 dB(A). It includes a 6-year warranty.
Lastly, we have the MasterFan A120 FC, which has the same aluminium alloy frame and blades as the A120 with an “Extreme Mode” that pushes the aluminium blades to a staggering 4000 RPM. At this speed, it generates a massive 127.73 CFM of airflow and 13.15 mmAq of static pressure. While the 42.5 dB(A) noise level is substantial, it includes a remote control to dial back the power for daily use. Like the standard A120, it carries a 6-year warranty.
Currently launching in China, the fans are priced very competitively, ranging from approximately £15 to £26 (excl. tax). However, US/UK/European pricing is expected to be higher once import costs and VAT are factored in.
