Ubisoft has a new Ghost Recon game in the works

Aside from plans to produce the first ‘Generative AI game', Ubisoft does have more traditional titles in the works for release over the next couple of years. In its latest earnings report, Ubisoft confirmed that it will be launching new Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and Ghost Recon games.

As part of Ubisoft's end of fiscal year earnings report (via VGC), the company said that three of its biggest franchises, Ghost Recon, Assassin's Creed and Far Cry, will get new games before March 2029. Ubisoft also expects a “strong rebound” during the next fiscal year, indicating that most of these new projects will be targeting 2027/2028

Ubisoft should have a successful 2026 as well, thanks to continued strong performance from Rainbow Six Siege, as well as new games like Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced, which launches in July.

Unfortunately, this earnings report did not bring any update on the status of the Splinter Cell remake, which has been in development for several years at this point.
