Nvidia is teaming up with SEGA to bring Virtua Fighter Crossroads and other classic SEGA titles to newly the newly launched RTX Spark platform. While RTX Spark systems will use Windows, the chip is ARM-based, meaning extra compatibility work needs to be done to get certain games running.
The announcement was made during an event at GiGO Akihabara in Tokyo, where CEO Jensen Huang appeared alongside SEGA leadership and Virtua Fighter creator Yu Suzuki. Nvidia confirmed that Virtua Fighter Crossroads will be the first SEGA title supported on RTX Spark, with more games planned to follow.
This is an interesting partnership, as Nvidia also partnered with Sega decades ago for the very first PC version of Virtua Fighter. While Virtua Fighter Crossroads will be the first Sega title to support the RTX Spark platform, there will be more games getting support in the future as well.
