There’s something uniquely satisfying about LEGO, even in video game form, with the brick builder having crossed over with countless IPs, genres and concepts. Following a leak earlier this Summer, it appears as though Paradox Interactive is gearing up to officially announce their new city builder ‘LEGO Skylines.’
Back in May, a ratings board listing for LEGO Skylines popped up, marking the first time what we’d heard of such a project. The listing went live alongside a plethora of other known titles, including Persona 4 Revival – lending credence to its legitimacy.
While LEGO Skylines has yet to be officially announced, it appears as though Paradox Interactive and LEGO are gearing up for a Gamescom announcement, with the two companies confirmed to be present at the showcase.
Taking to Instagram, the official Gamescom page revealed LEGO’s presence, writing: “Get ready for creativity, fun, and plenty of brick-tastic moments. The LEGO Group is joining us at gamescom 2026! See you there!”
In addition, the official Gamescom website has now listed its full line-up of attendees and exhibitions, confirming that Paradox Interactive will be present at the event.
Though there is still a chance that this is all a coincidence, it seems quite clear that the announcement for LEGO Skylines is impending. It will be interesting to see how it differs from the mainline City Skylines.
