Apple iPad to hit UK on May 28th

Well its long overdue and USA Ebay sellers have been making huge mark ups selling at over the odds prices, but the iPad is finally coming to the UK. On Monday May 10th Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will be able to preorder from their relevant stores. The shipping will take place 18 days later.

The pricing as always is higher than USA to UK conversions with £429, £499, and £599 respectively for the 16gb, 32gb and 64gb units.

If this sounds like a delay then spare some sympathy for Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Mexico and the Netherlands who won't be able to buy the iPad until July. Good things come to those who wait!
