Razer unveils Reclusa X Mini 65% keyboard with hot-swappable PCB and tactile switches

Razer is moving into the custom‑mechanical keyboard market with the Reclusa X Mini 65%, the first entry in a new lineup built around hot‑swappable hardware and enthusiast‑grade components. The compact 65% wired board uses factory‑lubricated Razer Orange Gen‑3 tactile switches and a hot‑swappable PCB supporting standard 3‑pin and 5‑pin switches.

The Reclusa X Mini 65% includes dual‑layer silicone dampening to reduce hollow noise and resonance. Above the plate, the keyboard uses double‑shot ABS keycaps with a tri‑colour finish. South‑facing LEDs improve aftermarket keycap compatibility and support per‑key Razer Chroma RGB lighting.

The keyboard operates at a wired 1000Hz polling rate and integrates with Razer Synapse. Input controls include Razer Snap Tap, Snap Flex and Dual‑Keypress Priority. The Reclusa X Mini 65% will be available for £59.99/$49.99/€69.99 in US, UK, German, French and Italian layouts.

Razer says the Reclusa series is aimed at users who want a pre‑assembled board with room for customisation. More models are planned for the lineup down the line, so maybe we will eventually see TKL and full-size options.
