Triple-i Initiative Showcase returns next month with 35+ game announcements

Of the many different digital showcases to have popped up in the wake of E3’s demise, the Triple-i Initiative is one of the more notable – focusing less on ads and hosts in favour of back-to-back indie game announcements. Following their previous showcase last April, the Triple-i Initiative is set to return early next month, bringing with it “eight exclusive world premieres” and over 35 ‘indies’ to look forward to.

Releasing a teaser trailer in anticipation of the upcoming showcase, the Triple-i Initiative is set to go live on the 8th of October at 5PM UK time, featuring over 35 back-to-back announcements including “eight exclusive world premieres.”

The full list of studios / publishers set to be present can be found HERE, but some of the most notable include:

• Croteam (The Talos Principle)
• Daniel Mullins Games (Pony Island)
• Digital Sun Games (Moonlighter)
• Innersloth (Among Us)
• Blobfish Games (Brotato)
• Raw Fury (Sable, Call of the Sea and Blue Prince publisher)
• 11bit Studios (This War of Mine and Frostpunk)
• Evil Empire (The Rogue Prince of Persia)
• Team17 (Worms)

The previous showcase, which went live back in April, featured a strong line-up of games, including Don’t Starve Elsewhere; Graveyard Keeper II; Solarpunk; Windrose; Cairn DLC and dozens of other offerings.

While the notion of what constitutes an indie game in today’s day and age is somewhat muddled, the Triple-i Initiative will nonetheless be worth checking out when it goes live on the 8th of October.
