SteelSeries launches limited edition Cyber and Steel Apex Pro TKL keyboards

SteelSeries is marking its 25th anniversary with two limited‑edition versions of the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 keyboard, introducing new Cyber and Steel colourways alongside optional Speed and Control switch spring weights.

The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 is already SteelSeries’ flagship magnetic‑switch keyboard, built around OmniPoint 3.0 adjustable Hall Effect switches. The limited‑edition Cyber and Steel models keep the same underlying hardware and features, including Rapid Trigger, Rapid Tap and Protection Mode through SteelSeries’ QuickSet software. Users can now choose between different spring weights for the OmniPoint 3.0 switches, offering either faster actuation or a more controlled feel depending on preference.

All Gen 3 models share the same internal updates: improved stabilisers to reduce key wobble, per‑key lubrication for smoother travel, and a triple‑layer dampening foam stack for a deeper, thockier sound profile. The keyboard also supports GG QuickSet, allowing per‑key actuation presets and advanced features to auto‑launch with individual game profiles.
