Jsaux finally launches E-Ink and Pixel Matrix faceplates for Steam Machine

Jsaux Gaming has officially launched its new E‑Ink Faceplate and Pixel Matrix Faceplate for the Steam Machine. Both magnetic front panels act as full replacement faceplates, giving owners new ways to customise the system with live telemetry, artwork and other real‑time display options.

The E‑Ink Faceplate uses a 5.83‑inch 640×480 monochrome display, paired with Bluetooth and a 500mAh integrated battery. Configuration is handled through the Jsaux E‑Ink App, which includes eight display modes covering system metrics, time, weather, playtime and static content such as photos or retro‑style artwork.

The Pixel Matrix Faceplate offers a 7‑inch RGB panel with a 64×54‑pixel grid. Through the Jsaux Pixel App, users can load static images, animations or hardware dashboards. Power is supplied via a slim right‑angle USB‑C cable designed to sit flush with the Steam Machine’s front panel.

Both faceplates are available now through the Jsaux Gaming store, priced at $89.99 for the Pixel Matrix model and $99.99 for the E‑Ink version. Shipping begins in early October. Jsaux also plans to bring its companion apps directly to Steam in the future to streamline updates and installation.
