Sony say ‘engineers working hard’ on PSone Vita support

Sony have had to pull a game from their European Vita store – a classic PSOne title called Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. It was found that users who downloaded the title found that it didn't work.

There have been reports on the NeoGAF forum which claim that the game attempted to run through the Vita's PSP emulation, but returned an error in the end.

Shuhei Yoshida, the president of Sony Worldwide Studios said that the feature is still on the way.

He Tweeted “Our engineers are working hard on it. Please be patient.”

This classic game seems to have been accidentally released on Vita, but it would indicate that the support is coming soon. Sony have not issued a statement about the temporary appearance on the PlayStation Store.

Kitguru says: Fans are waiting patiently for the new feature to arrive.
