Thermaltake has expanded its sim‑racing hardware lineup with two new additions, the XRW‑G1 GT Steering Wheel and the XRP‑L1 Loadcell Pedal Set, aimed at enthusiasts who want even greater configuration over controls in competitive racing games.
The XRW‑G1 GT Steering Wheel uses a 300mm GT‑style layout built from CNC‑machined aluminium, carbon fibre and reinforced polymer. A 5‑inch integrated touchscreen provides access to RPM data, flags and other race information. Surrounding it is a full control array that includes backlit buttons, toggle switches, rotary encoders, thumb encoders and two multi‑directional “funky switches” for menu navigation and quick adjustments.
Magnetic carbon‑fibre paddle shifters are included, and RGB indicators provide visual cues for RPM and system status. The wheel works with Thermaltake’s steel‑ball quick‑release adapter (sold separately) for fast swaps across compatible wheelbases.
The XRP‑L1 Loadcell Pedal Set is built around a CNC‑machined aluminium structure designed to minimise flex under heavy braking. The throttle pedal uses a 16‑bit Hall Effect sensor with adjustable throw and spring preload, while the brake pedal is driven by a 200kg load cell with interchangeable springs and rubber dampers for tuning resistance and feel. Pedal angles can be adjusted in 5‑degree increments, and the set includes stainless‑steel mounting brackets for a range of cockpit layouts.
We don't have pricing yet, but both products will be available across Europe, the US and other regions starting soon.
