Computex 2021 exhibition cancelled, digital events will take place instead

After having to scrap plans for a physical event in 2020, the organisers of Computex hoped to come back with a bang in 2021. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is still on-going and as a result, there will be no onsite exhibition this year either.

Last night, the organisers behind Computex confirmed that the event would not return to normal this year after all:

“With another wave of coronavirus pandemic across the world, it doesn't look like we are close to the end. The majority of the show's stakeholders, including international exhibitors, visitors, and media, cannot join the show due to border control. Therefore, the organizers of COMPUTEX have decided to cancel the onsite exhibition this year.”

Instead of the onsite exhibition, virtual events will be taking place instead. We should have more news on that in the weeks to come. Computex 2021 was planned for the 1st to 4th of June.

KitGuru Says: With other events also being cancelled recently, seeing Computex follow suit isn't a surprise. Fingers crossed for 2022!

Elden Ring Nightreign is FromSoftware’s lowest rated game in years

Over the past 15 years or so, FromSoftware has gone from strength to strength. Though seemingly still a good game, the studio’s upcoming Elden Ring: Nightreign has become the lowest-rated FromSoft title since 2018’s VR exclusive Deracine.
