Cooler Master is preparing to roll out a new safety accessory for high‑end graphics cards. The GPU Shield Adapter will be available across Europe next week, adding additional monitoring and protection for 12+4‑pin GPU power connections.
The adapter sits between a graphics card and the power supply, providing real‑time monitoring across individual power pins. A multi‑colour LED ring offers status feedback, while an audible alarm can alert users to abnormal current conditions when the connector isn’t visible. The adapter can also reduce system power draw during critical fault conditions to help prevent connector damage.
The GPU Shield Adapter includes a dual‑colour 12+4‑pin connector to make full insertion easier to verify, addressing one of the most common causes of poor contact on modern high‑power GPUs. It’s designed to add extra monitoring and protection to the GPU power connection in high‑end systems.
The GPU Shield Adapter will be available in Europe next week priced around €29.99.
