Jelly Bean adoption rises to over 10%

Gingerbread is still the most widely used version of Android, although latest reports show that 4.2 Jelly Bean has now broken the 10 percent barrier adoption rate.

The information was released via the Android dashboard, correlated from data measured across a two week period. Devices were analysed as they accessed the Google Play store.

Gingerbread took 47.6 percent, a drop under the 50 percent mark that it has claimed for over a year. Honeycomb takes only 1.5 percent now, and Ice Cream Sandwich has 29.1 percent. Jelly Bean claims 10.2 percent of the total user base analysed.
