Fox’s Twitter hacked: claims of Obama’s assassination

The Secret Service are investigating the hacking of Fox's political Twitter account over messages which said that President Barack Obama had been assassinated.

The FoxNewsPolitics account was hacked yesterday and six messages were left which ‘reported' that Obama has been shot and killed in Iowa, by an unknown assassin.

Fox News issued a statement on their website saying that the tweeted messages were ‘false' and ‘malicious'.

The news caused a lot of stress for many people yesterday until they found out that the messages were false.
