Alpenföhn launches new AIO designed in partnership with der8auer

Alpenföhn has designed a new AIO liquid cooler in collaboration with famous overclocker and enthusiast Robert “der8auer” Hartung. Optimised to “offer high-performance cooling yet run almost in silence”, the new Gletcherwasser liquid coolers come with ARGB lighting and interchangeable logo plates for you to customise.

The pump features ARGB and a dual-chamber design to reduce noise while increasing performance and longevity. With speed between 1200 U/min and 2600U/min, the pump of the Gletcherwasser AIO liquid coolers can be tuned to either offer extreme performance or “virtual silence” (rated noise of 17.8dBA). The copper base plate is made of “large area micro-channels” to efficiently and quickly dissipate the residual heat from the CPU to the loop.

Available with 240mm (Gletcherwasser 240 and 240 HS) and 360mm (Gletcherwasser 360 and 360 HS) radiators, both options feature a leak-free design to ensure that no accidents happen. Even if there's a leak, “the pressure inside the system is regulated to avoid any loss of coolant”, further securing your hardware. These aluminium radiators are 27mm thick and are connected to the pump through 465mm of tubing.

The 240mm models come with 2x 120mm ARGB fans, while the 360mm include 3x 120mm ARGB fans. The Gletcherwasser 240 and 360 fans speeds range from 500 to 1600RPM, with a rated airflow of up to 92.6m³/h, a maximum pressure of 2.19mmAq and a rated noise of up to 23.6dBA, while the HS (High Speed) models fans are a bit faster and louder, reaching up to 2200RPM with a rated airflow of up to 132.4m³/h, a maximum pressure of 3.24mmAq, and a rated noise of up to 36.8dBA.

These coolers are compatible with Intel LGA 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2066, 2011-v3, and 2011 sockets and AMD TR4, sTRX4, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, and FM1 sockets. There's a remote control included to control the RGB lighting of the fans and pump and Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste.

The Alpenföhn Gletcherwasser AIO liquid coolers are available now at OverclockersUK. The Alpenföhn  Gletcherwasser 240 and 240 HS are both priced at £149.99, while the Gletcherwasser 360 and 360 HS are priced at £169.99. You can learn more about these coolers HERE.
