CES 2024: EKWB showcases a liquid-cooled PS5, the NoCase and new custom cooling gear

One of our last stops at CES this year is a visit to EKWB to check out new liquid cooling gear coming in 2024. If you are into high-end hardware, then the Torsion A60 limited edition case may catch your attention.

At the top of the list we have the new EK Nucleus AIO CR360, a Direct Die AIO cooler built for use with delidded processors, where the IHS has been removed for greater contact between the CPU and the cooler. Due to the pump being used, less heat is generated within the loop, allowing the Nucleus AIO to outperform a custom loop in many cases.

The EK-Quantum Velocity Edge CPU blocks are arriving for LGA1700 and AM5 sockets, in black and silver variants with a retro style block intended to evoke the era of the old Supremacy EVO blocks. You'll find a low polygon structure on the front face of the block and RGB lighting.

The EK-QuantumX NoCase is a standout. As you can tell by the name, this is a skeleton case, lacking panels for an open-air build. The front has a distro plate and two D5 pumps, so you can set up separate cooling loops for the CPU and GPU. The EK Torsion A60 is another interesting looking case, but it may be hard to get one as it is limited to just 777 units, with a high price tag to match.

As always, we also get a look at new radiators, fans and guest-built PCs to showcase the extreme possibilities of liquid cooling. There is even a liquid-cooled PlayStation 5 here, using a huge monoblock and an adapter with an SFX PSU to keep the system powered.
