AMD is giving away Uncharted with Ryzen 5000 CPUs

AMD's Ryzen 7000 series was released two weeks ago, but AMD hasn't yet abandoned its predecessor. The Ryzen 5000 series chips are still pretty decent, especially considering they are cheaper than ever. Now, AMD is adding more value to these CPUs by bundling them with the upcoming PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

AMD CPUs qualified for this bundle include the Ryzen 9 5950X/5900X, Ryzen 7 5800X3D/5800X/5700X and the Ryzen 5 5600X/5600/5500/4500. Note that the AMD Ryzen 5000 G series APUs are not eligible for this campaign. It would be nice if AMD bundled the Uncharted collection with the Ryzen 7000 series, but unfortunately, that won't be the case for now. It is also worth noting that this bundle seems to be more region-limited than previous bundles. For instance, the UK, Italy and Spain are discluded according to AMD's availability page.

UPDATE: AMD has informed us that the availability web page is being updated as some regions weren't listed yet. This particular deal is available in the UK through retailers like Overclockers UK.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes Uncharted 4 and the standalone DLC, Lost Legacy. The collection first launched on PS5 in early 2022 and was originally supposed to come to PC in the first half of the year, but delays pushed it back by several months. The PC version will have PC-exclusive features, including improved UI, new scale sliders for some menus, GPU and VRAM detection and management options, Auto Pause, Minimize in Background, Variable Load Speed support and FSR 2.0.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will release for the PC on October 19th, so even if you buy an eligible CPU today, you'll only be able to try it by then.
