Intel APO receives 12 new game profiles, Core Ultra 200K series now supported

Intel recently rolled out an update for the Application Optimizer (APO), proprietary software based on Dynamic Tuning Technology (DTT). Originally exclusive to the 14th Generation Core series, the functionality has since been extended to include the 13th and 12th Generation Core processors and now also supports the Core Ultra 200K series.

Note that while the Ultra 9 285K and Core Ultra 7 265K(F) are fully supported, the Core Ultra 5 245K(F) with fewer P-Cores is restricted to the “Advanced Mode” like all other CPUs with six P-cores, limiting activation to supported games only.

To broaden its scope, Intel has added a few competitive titles, such as Fortnite, DOTA 2, and CS2, to its APO-supported games list. Additionally, Intel is expanding compatibility to include other popular titles, like Cyberpunk 2077, Naraka Bladepoint, Riftbreaker, Company of Heroes 3, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and three Total War games. Here's the complete list of games supported by APO:

  1. Company of Heroes 3
  2. Counter-Strike: 2
  3. Cyberpunk 2077
  4. Dirt 5
  5. Dota 2
  6. Dreams Three Kingdoms 2 (PRC)
  7. F1 22
  8. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker
  9. Fortnite
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy
  11. Metro Exodus
  12. Naraka: Bladepoint
  13. Rainbow 6 Siege
  14. Red Dead Redemption 2
  15. Riftbreaker
  16. Serious Sam 4
  17. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  18. Strange Brigade (VLK)
  19. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
  20. Total War: Pharaoh
  21. Total War: Three Kingdoms
  22. Total War: Warhammer 3
  23. Watch Dogs Legion
  24. World of Tanks
  25. World of Warcraft
  26. World War Z

It's worth noting that Intel leveraged APO for internal testing during the launch of the Core Ultra 200K series, with the official presentation showing performance figures with APO enabled.
