The upcoming Ryzen 5 7600X may have leaked

AMD has confirmed plans to launch its Ryzen 7000 series processors later this year and as the launch swiftly approaches, we are starting to see more leaks. This week, a benchmark leak appears to have revealed the Ryzen 5 7600X.

The entry shared by @TUM_APISAK shows the CPU was mounted on a Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master with 32GB of memory and paired with an Nvidia RTX A4000. Up to now, we've never seen the OPN code found in this entry. However, considering its 6-core configuration, we assume this is the upcoming  Ryzen 5 7600X.

Despite running at just 4.4GHz, the processor looks quite capable, performing relatively similar (just 3% slower) to a Core i9-12900K-based system. Harukaze also shared a chart comparing the scores of the newly found CPU with those of a Ryzen 9 5950X. As seen in the chart, the 6-core Ryzen was faster than the flagship Ryzen 5000 series CPU.

KitGuru says: Although this is just an engineering sample, performance is already quite promising. If it performed like this while clocked at 4.4GHz, we look forward to seeing retail sample results, where clock speeds should be around the 5GHz mark.
