Intel Core i7 970 CPU Review

The Mandel FPU benchmark measures double precision floating point performance across several rendered frames of the popular ‘Mandlebrot’ fractal. This is an immensely useful benchmark as it measures X86/SSE2 instruction set extensions.

Results are very good for the Intel processors however we are quite pleased to see the massively overclocked 1055T scoring so high, almost reaching the score that the reference 970 achieved.
