AMD RX 7900 GRE Review

Alan Wake 2 is a 2023 survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games Publishing. Kicking off our game benchmarks with Alan Wake II, at 1440p the 7900 GRE manages 58FPS on average, and that puts it dead level with the RTX 4070 Super. It also marks a 10% improvement over the RX 7800 XT, while it's 19% slower than the 7900 XT.

At 4K, with no upscaling, frame rates drop to the low 30s so you'd likely enable FSR here, but once again we're looking at very similar performance to the 4070 Super, and about a 10% gain over the 7800 XT.
