AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs will pack RDNA 2 integrated graphics

AMD didn't say much about its iGPU plans during its Ryzen 7000 reveal this week, but that has now changed. According to an updated page on AMD's website, every Ryzen 7000 CPU will come with an RDNA 2 iGPU.

If you visit AMD's Ryzen 7000 series webpage you'll find a table summarising the specifications of all Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. In this table, there's a row named “graphics model”, where you can see that every SKU features “AMD Radeon graphics”. At that same table, there's also a row for the graphics core count, listing every SKU as having 2 CUs.

All Ryzen 7000 processors will feature the same iGPU, featuring a base clock of 400MHz and a boost clock of 2,200MHz. Considering it only has two CUs and the clock speeds, don't expect to do any AAA gaming using the iGPU. Still, it should be enough for basic tasks like surfing the web, watching media content, and possibly playing some older games.

AMD Ryzen 7000 processors will be available starting on the 27th of September. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
