Enermax Revolution 87+ 1000W Power Supply Review

Enermax are using a A142512M-0A fan inside the Revolution 87+ 1000W power supply. This has seven blades and is rated 12V 0.45A. We have seen this model used within other power supplies within their range, and it has not disappointed.

The build quality of the Revolution 87+ 1000W is excellent, with a very clean internal layout. There are several rows of black heatsinks to ensure that temperatures remain in check.

The AC line filter has four Y caps, two X caps and a coil.

The design is using two primary capacitors from Panasonic which are rated to 105c, always good to see. They are rated at 390uF, 400V. Enermax are also using some secondary side capacitors from Nippon Chemi Con and KY Electrolytics with this power supply.

The cable is fully sleeved into the chassis of the Revolution 87+ power supply, ensuring no potential fraying problems over time.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.

  1. Nice, I am not a big fan of the gold they use all the time, but im not that bothered. Seems like a solid design all round. As most of their products are. Still use a 850W of theirs, 3 years and running.

  2. yum, I am looking at the 850W for my next upgrade. love their products. they have a nice keyboard out at the minute, well nice looking, it might suck….

  3. Excellent, My system keeps crashing, has been for a month now and I think it might be the PSU. any experts here able to tell me how I can tell if it is the PSU without buying another one obviously?

  4. Any ideas where it is available? cant find it on the usual UK sites.
