Each month, all those with a Humble Choice subscription are privy to a selection of games for a relatively low price. Available to claim now, October’s line-up has been officially revealed, including the likes of Psychonauts 2; Prince of Persia The Lost Crown; Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and more.
As with each month’s offerings, subscribing to Humble Choice for the relatively low price of £11.49 will net you a total of 8 titles to add to your Steam library:
- Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Psychonauts 2
- Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
- Cataclismo
- Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers
- Asgard's Fall Viking Survivors
- Toy Shire
The headliner for October is of course Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii – the latest original entry in RGG Studio’s much-loved and long-running action adventure RPG series.
As with the Like a Dragon games before it, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii features a variety of gameplay styles, mini-games and substories while separating itself from past offerings thanks to its pirate and ship sailing mechanics. If you’ve played any other Yakuza game then you know what to expect; though that’s far from a bad thing.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown meanwhile is an underrated side-scrolling Metroidvania featuring pleasant aesthetics; fast-paced and visually exciting combat alongside a variety of weapons, amulets and more (all of which was enhanced further with a bunch of free DLC).
Though the game failed to meet Ubisoft’s expectations sales-wise, The Lost Crown remains one of the highest rated entries in the Prince of Persia franchise and would be worth picking up at its original asking price – let alone as part of a collection of 8 games for 1/6th the price of a typical AAA title.
