AMD will give a sneak peek at upcoming FidelityFX technologies at GDC 2023

AMD has been working on new FidelityFX technologies. Besides FSR 3, we don't know what other technologies the company has up its sleeve, but that should change in a few weeks. AMD has now confirmed plans for a FidelityFX-focused presentation at GDC.

Jason Lacroix, principal member of technical staff at AMD will be presenting and providing the updates. The panel will focus on the FidelityFX SDK, which is known to include graphical enhancement technologies such as FSR, Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS), Variable Shading, Denoiser, and many others.

In AMD's presentation during GDC, we believe AMD will give us our first look at FSR 3, as the company promised the technology would release later this year. Other features of the SDK will be a welcome surprise.

GDC 2023 kicks off on March 20th, with the AMD FidelityFX SDK session scheduled for March 23rd. Unfortunately, the panel won't be live-streamed, but attendees may share the details afterwards.
