Final Fanatasy Pixel Remaster series has sold two million copies across all platforms

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has been a tremendous success since its launch, selling over two million copies globally.

The remastered bundle was initially launched on Steam and mobile platforms, garnering a loyal audience. A few months after, Square Enix announced the bundle would also make its way to some consoles, specifically the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. These versions were released in digital and physical formats in April, with the latter selling out soon after release. As the number of platforms grew, so did the sales, eventually breaking the two million mark across all platforms.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection is an ideal entry point for newcomers to the series and veterans alike. The bundle includes the series’ early entries from Final Fantasy 1 to 6, and the remasters add a modern twist to the pixelated visuals, including updated spell effects. Turn-based battles have also been revised.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile.

KitGuru says: With these sales numbers, it’s clear that there are still plenty of dedicated Final Fantasy fans looking to revisit the classic games.
