Metacritic lists the ten worst reviewed games of 2022

Metacritic has put together a list of the ten worst video games of 2022 based on their Metacritic score. As the name implies, the list includes games from January 1st to December 31st. However, they can only be selected for the list if they have more than seven reviews from professional critics. Only the lowest-scoring version will be included if a title has been released on multiple platforms.

Continuing its tradition, Metacritic has once again published a list of the ten worst video games of this year. The least worst-reviewed title in this list is the “enhanced” version (Switch) of 1997's Blade Runner point-and-click sci-fi adventure, which got a Metacritic score of 52. In ninth place, also with a Metacritic score of 52, we have the PS4 version of Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief, a game you may have never heard of. Moving on to the eighth-placed title, with a Metacritic score of 51, there's Waylanders, a PC exclusive inspired by Dragon Age: Origins and Baldur's Gate, but not with their success.

ARPG The Last Oricru (Xbox Series X) holds seventh place with a Metacritic score of 50. After that, we have Zorro: The Chronicles (PS5) in sixth place (Metacritic score: 49), LEGO Brawls (PS5) in fifth place (Metacritic score: 46), and XEL (Switch) in fourth place (Metacritic score: 43).

On the podium, there's the infamous Babylon's Fall (PS5) in third with a Metacritic score of 41, followed by CrossfireX (Xbox Series X) with a Metacritic score of 38. At the top (or bottom, depending on how you're looking at it), we have Postal 4: No Regerts (PC) with a 30 Metacritic score.
