Xbox launches red and blue variants of the Elite Series 2 Core wireless controller

We've seen standard black and white versions of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers already but now, more options are going to be available. This week, Xbox revealed new Red and Blue colourways of the controller.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller will now be available in Red and Blue colour options. Aside from the new colours, you'll still get all of the features you would expect from an ‘Elite' controller, including adjustable tension thumbsticks, trigger locks, rubberised grips and button-mapping functionality.

Custom profiles can be created using the Xbox Accessories App, which allows you to change other settings, such as the colour of the Xbox button. Compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PCs and mobile devices, you can wirelessly connect your Elite Series 2 Core controller via Xbox Wireless technology and Bluetooth, capable of providing up to 40 hours of rechargeable battery life. Alternatively, you can connect the controller using a USB-C cable.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core in red or blue is now available for pre-order for $139.99/€139.99.
