Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith promo Injustice: Gods Among Us

Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, Jay and Silent Bob, the ambiguously gay duo, however you refer to them, the lifelong pals have been drafted in by marketing at Warner Bros, to help promote the new DC beat 'em up, Injustice: Gods Among us.

In the short trailer, they argue over which superheroes would dominate one another and look back into the past at the historic nature of such back and forths. Smith, director of cult classics like Clerks and Clerks 2 (and soon, Clerks 3), features food in and around his face in most of the flashbacks, while Mewes has his tell tale long blonde hair – so you know it's really them. The trailer continues with a little flash of in-game footage, giving you a taste of what's on offer.

Typical of dumb, international release dates, Injustice: Gods Among Us, is released on the 16th April in North America, 17th April in Australia and 19th April in Europe. Japanese fans however, will need to wait until 9th June. Because why not.
