Battlefield 6 single-player campaign revealed in new trailer

We've known for a while now that Battlefield 6 will feature a proper single-player campaign, something that has been missing ever since Battlefield Hardline. However, EA has been quiet on the subject, focusing much of its recent marketing around the multiplayer side of the game. That changed last night with the campaign reveal trailer.

Battlefield 6 will have a full single-player campaign, not just a small set of standalone missions like we saw in Battlefield V. The story is set in the year 2027, so the very near future. In this timeline, the world is on the edge of chaos, with the NATO alliance crumbling and financial instability and political disputes sending the world into turmoil. At this time, a private military organisation, Pax Armata, looks to seize power.

The campaign will take place across multiple missions, with players taking on the role of Dagger 13, a squad of elite US marines fighting back against Pax Armata. The campaign will take us to locations all around the world, including the streets of Brooklyn all the way to Cairo, the capital of Egypt.

Battlefield 6 officially launches on October 10th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S with the complete campaign and multiplayer.
