Call of Duty: Vanguard brings the series back to WWII

After months of leaks and rumours, Activision finally revealed Call of Duty: Vanguard this week. As expected, Sledgehammer Games is taking the reigns this year, returning to the WWII period.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will feature a WWII campaign, 20 multiplayer maps, a zombie mode developed by Treyarch and of course, the game will also integrate with Call of Duty: Warzone. The battle royale mode will get a complete refresh, with a brand new map and new weapons taken from Vanguard.

Raven Software teased that it was working on new anti-cheat software for Call of Duty: Warzone a short while ago. This has also been confirmed, with a new PC anti-cheat system set to arrive alongside the new Vanguard map.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will be releasing on the 5th of November.

KitGuru Says: I'm already liking the look of this more than Black Ops Cold War, although I may hold out for a Modern Warfare sequel in 2022, rather than jumping back in this year. What did you all think of the Call of Duty: Vanguard reveal? Will you be picking this up in November?
