Cross-platform multiplayer coming to Minecraft Dungeons

Minecraft was one of the first games to push cross-platform multiplayer between consoles, PC and even mobile. Minecraft Dungeons launched without cross-play multiplayer, but that will be changing soon, with a new update bringing together all console versions and PC. 

Today during Minecraft Live, Mojang announced that Cross-Play is coming to Minecraft Dungeons in November:

Unite. Fight. Survive… Together!

Cross-play is coming to @dungeonsgame in November, next month! Gather all your heroic friends and prepare to play together on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One!

As we can tell from the tweet above, that means friends across PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch will be able to play together, teaming up and taking on challenging dungeons.

Presumably, the next-gen Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will also be included in cross-play, with both consoles also set to launch in November.
