Disney reportedly looking to release more Indiana Jones games

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been a great surprise to end the year on. Machine Games delivered a fantastic original story that slots nicely between the original films. Now, it appears that Disney has more plans for Indiana Jones video games.

According to film leaker, DanielRPK, who typically focuses on leaks for big franchises like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Alien and others, we are going to be getting “more Indy games” following the success of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

The new Indiana Jones game, developed by Machine Games, released earlier this month to great acclaim amongst both critics and fans. I've already spent quite a lot of time with the Xbox and PC versions of the game myself. If you are a fan of Immersive Sim games, I would say this slots well into that category, with tons of emphasis placed on exploration and secrets hidden all across the game world.

Currently, we're unsure what to expect from the future of Indiana Jones in gaming. Given the success of The Great Circle, I would certainly like to see Machine Games given an opportunity to develop a sequel.

KitGuru Says: If there are more Indiana Jones games on the way, they are already facing extremely tough competition out of the gate thanks to the team at Machine Games. Have you played Indiana Jones and the Great Circle already? Would you like to see a sequel?
