EA’s Iron Man game might be level-based, not open world

EA Motive has been slowly working away on its next major game, based on Marvel's Iron Man. Recent job listings have given us a little insight into the plan for the game.

EA's recruitment site has been updated with new job listings for the Iron Man project. As spotted by Insider Gaming, EA Motive is hiring for a Level Designer, who will oversee the creation of “major singleplayer levels”, indicating that the plan is to structure the game around levels and not a massive open world.

These levels could be expansive open zones like in Obsidian's Avowed, or they could be more traditional levels, with no open-world element at all, nobody really knows outside of EA at this time.

EA's Iron Man game is being built with Unreal Engine 5. So far, the game has not been shown off publicly and no release date has been announced.
