Elden Ring’s long-awaited Colosseum update launches tomorrow

Shortly after the game launched, dataminers found evidence of a hidden colosseum in Elden Ring. This massive arena seemed prime for PvP fights and while it has taken a lot longer than anticipated, From Software has now officially announced Elden Ring's Colosseum DLC.

In a free update arriving for all platforms tomorrow, Elden Ring players will get access to the PvP Colosseum. There are three colosseums in total, one in Limgrave, one in Leyndell and one in Caelid. If you enter the arena, you'll be able to participate in duels, free for alls and team fights, so there are a lot of options to choose from.

While the sudden launch is a surprise, there has been mounting evidence pointing towards this update for a while now. An Elden Ring patch in October contained more code references to PvP – that update also began laying the groundwork for ray-traced graphics. For now, we do not have confirmation on ray-tracing being enabled in-game with the Colosseum update.

If you are looking to dive back into Elden Ring and participate in PvP, then the update will arrive tomorrow for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
