Final Fantasy 7 Remake comes to PC next week

Earlier this year, dataminers discovered references to Final Fantasy 7 Remake buried within the Epic Games Store database. As predicted, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PC, and you don't have to wait much longer to get your hands on it either.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake initially released as a PlayStation exclusive in 2020, and was later updated as ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade' for the PS5, including new story content and graphical improvements. Now, the game will finally be making its way to PC, in fact the game will be available in less than a week's time.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade arrives on PC on the 16th of December. For now, much like the Kingdom Hearts series on PC, this game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, with no Steam version announced so far.

This also marks the end of Sony's timed exclusivity over Final Fantasy 7 Remake, opening the door for the game to perhaps come to other platforms as well in the future. While we're unlikely to see this game running natively on a Nintendo Switch, a cloud-only version is not out of the realm of possibility. An Xbox console version could also be on the horizon too.

KitGuru Says: We've waited a long time, but Final Fantasy 7 Remake is finally coming to PC. Will you be picking this one up at release? Or will you be holding out for a Steam version?
