Ghost of Tsushima: Legends releases this month as part of huge update

Ghost of Tsushima quickly became a best-seller for Sony earlier this year, breaking records as one of the fastest selling new IP in PlayStation history. In August, Sucker Punch announced a co-op multiplayer expansion called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and later this month, that update will be released.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is “an entirely new experience”, so it won’t spoil story content or continue the main story. However, it will give you the opportunity to team up with a few friends, play as different classes and take down a series of standalone story missions with escalating difficulty. As Sucker Punch previously described it, the new mode is “building on the foundation of combat from the single-player campaign but with new magical twists that often require careful synchronisation with your partner”.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends ships with the game's 1.1 update, which also includes a new game+ mode, armour loadouts, playtime tracking and an updated photo mode. The update begins rolling out for free to all owners of the game on the 16th of October.

KitGuru Says: Ghost of Tsushima has been one of my favourite games of the year. It will be interesting to see if its success in single-player can carry over to a multiplayer mode. Will many of you be trying this out when it drops?
