GTA+ subscribers now get free access to Liberty City Stories and Chinatown Wars

Last year, shortly following the launch of GTA V: Expanded and Enhanced Edition, Rockstar launched a new GTA+ subscription. Subscribers usually get bonuses for Grand Theft Auto Online, but Rockstar has now expanded the membership to include access to two other GTA games.

Starting today, GTA+ subscribers now get access to Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Chinatown Wars. The catch is that the availability is for iOS and Android devices, so you won't be downloading these games to your console. In order to take advantage, all you have to do is download the games on your smartphone or tablet and then log in with your Rockstar Games Social Club account, the same one you use for your GTA+ subscription. At that point, the full game will unlock.

If you aren't a GTA+ subscriber, you can still download these games on iOS or Android and get a free 30-minute trial. After that, you'll have to purchase the game.

GTA+ is a subscription available to GTA Online players on console, offering bonuses like extra in-game cash, free LS Car Meet Membership, exclusive upgrades for gear and vehicles, and additional rewards from completing races for $5.99 per month.

KitGuru Says: I'm not sure this is going to move the subscriber needle much but we'll see. The more benefits a subscription has, the more likely you are to eventually win someone over.
