Here’s what Bioshock would look like if it were remade today

The very first Bioshock game was released seven years ago running on Unreal Engine 2 and while the game's visuals aren't bad, it certainly looks a lot better running in Unreal Engine 4. An Indie Developer who goes by “noodlespagoodle” on YouTube, has imported some of Bioshock's assets in to the latest iteration of the Unreal Engine and it looks amazing.

To refresh your memory, here is what the first Bioshock looks like:

As you can see, the update to Unreal Engine 4 makes the in-game assets look just as good if not better than some of the titles released in the last year. The developer wrote in the description of his video: “I've been itching to play with UE4… So I decided to gather up some of the original Bioshock assets and see how they'd look in a next gen engine!”

Since Irrational Games disbanded last year, nobody knows what the future of Bioshock is, in-fact there might not even be a future for the franchise but I don't think I'm the only one who would like to see a re-mastered release running on Unreal Engine 4. We will be seeing more games running on the engine soon too as Epic Games revealed that there will be a bunch of titles running on it announced at E3 later this year.

KitGuru Says: Unreal Engine 4 is our first look at the next generation of graphics and it is quite impressive. Would you guys play through Bioshock again with updated visuals?
