For years, I have been playing the Resident Evil Remakes in virtual co-op, using an app called Parsec to pass controls between me and another person. For Resident Evil 4, fans will no longer have to do that, as a new mod aims to bring co-op to the game for the entire campaign.
A couple of years on from its launch, a modder has found a way to bring co-op multiplayer to the Resident Evil 4 Remake campaign. Tthe mod is now available through NexusMods, but is still in beta, with some issuess being actively worked on.
Through the mod, two players can sync their games in real-time, including all doors, story events, enemies, switches, alarms and other elements.
Some of the issues currently being fixed include lag spikes, enemy synchronisation bugs and the game auto-pausing when the inventory is opened.
